Born in Marin, Heather has been exploring Marin’s landscapes all her life. Currently she is intrigued with reflections and fog, which she features in her photographs whenever possible. She is drawn to the transformative atmospheric element and obscurity that fog introduces as well as the beautiful blur and allure of reflections.

Heather hopes to introduce an emotive component to her work, promoting a lingering effect that allows for the interplay of personal associations. This reflective pause invites the viewer to become an integral part of the creative process.

Heather received the 2016 Marin County Fair “Photography Best of Show” award.
